The Academy of the Arts of the World and Un-Label are jointly organizing the 2025 Participatory Residency Programme, which is aimed at artists, activists and cultural workers with disabilities. The open call ended on October 15 and was a great success. With over 120 applications from all over the world, the program already shows how relevant offers for participatory and inclusive art are. Thank you very much for the many inspiring applications we received from South East Asia, Africa, North America and many other regions!
The selection process for the residency program is currently underway. In addition to the teams from the Academy of the Arts of the World and Un-Label, external experts Lena Sophie Beuth and John Herman are part of the jury that will select the most promising projects. The final decision will be announced at the beginning of next year, with the residency starting in April 2025. We are already looking forward to an exciting program!
