The ADKDW Residency will once again bring international artists and cultural practitioners to Cologne in 2024 to connect them with the local art and creative scene and give them the opportunity to conduct research and find new inspiration for their own work.
From the end of October 2024, ADKDW welcomes KEKAHI WAHI, a film initiative led by filmmaker Sancia Miala Shiba Nash and artist Drew K. Broderick. From October to December 2024, they will offer a series of events - including a meet-and-greet, a weaving and reading workshop, and a film screening that creates space for discussion.
The residency of kekahi wahi is realised with the kind support of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and takes place in cooperation with the Hawai'i Triennial 2025 ‘ALOHA NŌ’.
