With Alex Mello und Panamérica Transatlântica, in Kollaboration mit iJula, Lusotaque, Coral Vozes do Brasil, Maracatu Colônia
It takes a body to have life/art. It takes life to be body/art. The goal of the workshop is to create an open studio where scenic objects and costumes take on the identity of those who will wear them and use them in Woy performance. The workshop is an invention/intervention/exhibition based on the creation of costumes, banners and props. The workshop proposes to discuss the productive/expressive poetics of the body in space and as space, whether in the museum itself or in the city it inhabits. We will use the parangolés of Hélio Oiticica and the work of Franz Erhard Walther as inspiration to sensitize participants to create, dance, sing and interact in the studio.
